Serial number matched irons. Kirkwood was a good tour player in the 20's and 30's and one of the best iron players ever - he once had 2 aces in one round! Not sure what Tru-Goose means on hosel but probably indicates the slight hosel twist near the sole. Hardly a mark on the heads other than some minor face discoloration spots on a couple irons- excellent original sand blasting. Perfect 2 1/4" ferrules with all rings. Heddon standard shafts (not streamlined, which they also made) are extra-fine with 2 exceptions- 5 iron with small corroded spot just above shaftband on left side and 2 iron with some chrome corrosion just above ferrule on underside of shaft - in both of these cases (side and underneath) neither spot is in view at address. Perfect metallic Heddon shaftbands and fine leather wrap grips with numbered butt plugs and all collars in place. 5 iron 37" and frequency checks to 5.5 regular.
