Very good forged stainless steel heads - small dings yes - gouges no. Very good ferrules with only the 7 missing the top ring. Very good True Temper Dynamic shafts with a small bag burn mark on the 6 and 7. All shafts with remarkably good chrome sparkle. All old style True Temper Dynamic shaftbands in place - the 5, 6 and 9 read 'Dynamic'; the balance have a boxed "x" beside the word Dynamic. Interesting as these are matched irons by registration number so this was done at the Spalding factory. The 2, 3 and 4 also have the licensing and patent band. Excellent set of cord grips with all endcaps and collars except the 7 with a black taped collar. The 5 iron is an 'extra-length' 38 1/2" to the end of the grip butt. Swingweight of 5 is E-6! As with most classic irons, a PW is not needed since lofts were much weaker until the 1970's and 80's. 9 iron loft in this set is 53 degrees. But an All Purpose wedge was discovered and added to the set. The wedge has a 58 degree loft with about 8 degree bounce - the wedge is in fine condition with a near-perfect head and ferrule, fine True Temper Step Down shaft with good band and excellent rubber perf-like grip - the wedge is 35".
