Very nice set of forged dealer irons from the early 1960's (1960-1966). The Snead Championship irons date to the 1950's and had a long run. These are probably the most interesting of the designs with a triple level muscleback. The backs are beautiful with a unique crowned logo. Faces also excellent with original sandblasting. There is some head edgewear but no chrome breaks. Soles are flat, zero bounce. Ferrules excellent with only the 7 missing the top ring. Very fine Wilson Speed Flo steel shafts showing great chrome sparkle and almost no dulling. Very fine Wilson leather wrap reminder grips with all caps and all collars in place. 5 iron 37". Note that these early sets were sold as 8 or 9 iron sets - this was the former where a buyer usually acquired a utility wedge separately or already used one they had. The 9 iron loft is 46 degree, not far off today's pitching wedge lofts.
