Golfengineering ID: ucpw5582
Vintage: Early 1950's
Gender-Dexterity: right handed
Lifecycle: used
Shaft type: steel

The year Payne Stewart won the Open at Pinehurst, the pros were using 3 woods to chip greenside. They should have had this chipper from the late 40's, early 50's. Very good solid block of aluminum with two sole lead weights. This extra bulk and solidity differentiates this weapon from the usual blade-style wedge. Offset with deep face 1 1/8". Very fine True Temper unstepped steel shaft showing excellent chrome sparkle with no dulling or bag burn marks. Very fine vintage black rubber pistol grip. 35". Suitable for men or women.
