A great matched set of MacGregor Nicklaus Personal irons vintage 1990. These are the forged cavity backs
with uniform edge weight distribution and flat soled long faces. Definitely player's clubs. Fine+ heads with only
the 6 showing some moderate abrasion on toe of sole. Irons are serial number matched on ferrules except 6 and 7.
The 6 and 7 have similar ferrules except the ring pattern on the 6 is a little wider and on the 7 slightly tighter.
My guess is these were reshafted at the factory with component ferrules. All ferrules in excellent condition with all rings.
Shafts are True Temper S300 stiff in extra-fine condition showing near-new chrome sparkle; good shaft bands. It is
possible these were factory ordered or replaced since the MacGregor catalogs indicated Velocitized shafts
as standard. Replaced Lamkin Perma Tac grips are very good and soft. 5 iron 37 1/2".
