Pelz Preceptor The Teacher putter, Brass 8802

Golfengineering ID: ucput4174
Vintage: 1975
Gender-Dexterity: men's right handed
Lifecycle: used
Shaft type: steel

Good condition for this hard to find brass headed 8802 design from the master of putting technique, Dave Pelz. Unstepped overhosel steel shaft very good with good chrome sparkle and shaftband. Originally, a screwdown 'goalpost' face insert was provided for practice. The idea was to perfect center face hits by a conditioned stroke of the ball between the posts. In actual play, the insert was reversed and the player used the same form factor putter. The trainer was positively received by the professional golf community. This putter has the insert grooves filled eliminating the practice option using the insert. New pistol grip.
