Neat set from long time scottish maker Tom Stewart. Tom most notably made clubs for Bobby Jones and Harry Vardon. Generally he only produced heads for others to assemble into clubs. My guess is this is a 'complete' short set although such matched sets usually did not include the 6 iron. (The 9 was usually the putter). With the New York engraving they may have been produced by/for Davega, a NY retailer of this vintage. The dot punched heads have rust pitting but it's shallow. There are no gouges. The long ferrules are excellent and the brown sheathed steel shafts are remarkably near perfect with virtually no nicks and harding any scratching. The 14" leather wrap grips are also amazingly good with all collars and caps in place. The 2 iron has a chip in the endcap. These irons are sturdy and playable. Over time the heads will tarnish and rust so some coating is suggested if you are going to mount them.
