This started the weight distribution in irons. Willie Ogg was a staff pro for Wilson who patented the idea of placing weights in the toe end of the irons to counter weight the hosel weight. A brilliant idea followed by everyone and still valid to the current day. This early model putter is in fine condition including the chocolate sheathed shaft and 16" leather wrap grip which includes the collar and endcap. 34 3/4" and ready to use or mount. |
