JC Higgins 'Cash In' putter

Golfengineering ID: cucput0172
Vintage: Late 1940's
Gender-Dexterity: men's right handed
Lifecycle: used
Shaft type: Skinny Steel

A rare bird from JC Higgins. Probably JC Higgins licensed the design patent for Bob Cash's popular putter made for Spalding in numerous formats. This is the only JC Higgins model I've seen and it has the Cash In design patent # as the Spalding. Head with some pitting but overall good. Excellent ferrule and very good skinny steel stepped steel shaft with readable True Temper Step Down shaftband. 15" leather wrap pistol grip good with endcap and collar but seam above collar is beginning to open. 34".
