Very good set of vintage late 1970's serial number matched Nicklaus VIPs. These were the ones Nicklaus used for
several years beginning with the 1976 prototypes; after his win at the TPC later that year he kept using them for
several years. He was personally involved with the design along with David Graham. Soft-steel stainless heads
with only minor dings; Perfect ferrules. Excellent MacGregor Response # 1 Stiff steel shafts showing good chrome
sparkle and no bag burn flaws; these were well taken care of clubs. New elegant charcoal colored Sharpro grips.
Original MacGregor rubber grips very good and still soft. 5i length 37 1/2" men's standard.
