An extraordinary complete set of Helen Hicks National Champ golf clubs in playable condition even today.
Well preserved woods - driver, brassie and spoon - with perfect cross-hatched faces. Minor wood wear with
excellent crown engraving. 2 and 3 with large lead backweights. Excellent shafts with extra long ferrules joining
the chocolate sheathing. Excellent and long 'The Reminder' leather wrap grips with all caps and collars. Woods come
with red leather headcovers with all zippers operational. Matching irons numbered 1 thru 9 with Ogg-Mented lead
weighting in the toe. The 9 is the putter in this series. Irons have perfect chocolate sheathed shafts and long
leather wrap grips with all caps and collars. Beautiful shafts. Good canvas 7" diameter Can Pro bag with inbuilt hood with working zipper.
Only the shoulder strap is broken at the top of the bag . These matching single crest clubs were designed for 'the medium-short,
moderately stout figure, standing about five feet four inches tall' per the 1935 Wilson catalog. While used in their prime, these
clubs were stored away with the hood draw for about 50 years, which probably accounts for their great condition.
