Excellent condition in beautiful and sharp color. The first of Shell's videos in the Wonderful World series and the only one made stateside. First aired on TV Feb. 4, 1962. At the time Pine Valley was heralded as the toughest golf course in the world. There's a history of George Crump the founder, architect and contractor. Each hole is described in basic format and then overlaid with the sand, rough and trees so you get a good idea of the treachery each player faces. The match is also great, pitting two all time great US Open winners - amazing to see how easy it is for even a seasoned pro to card a quadruple. The inside label on the plastic case is soiled but the outer box is very good.
