Ready for play. With the sole engraving worn off, it is somewhat of an educated guess as to whether this is an R99. Based on the face lines, no music note logo and mid-shaft identifier 'flex-gauged', it likely is, even though it doesn't have the two tone facial lines (assumed to be simply worn off). The tapered shaft suggests either a 'seamless' or 'Hy-Power' model of 1934-8... by 1940, most 'Scoring Zone' clubs were sold with True Temper shafts, which were stepped. Good head and ferrule. Tiny sheath fault just above ferrule on right side of shaft when club in address position. Otherwise flawless dark green sheathed shaft. Replaced 13" leather wrap grip is good with whipped collar and later period W/S cap. 35", 56 degree loft.
