Near-fine complete set of forged blades with elements of perimeter weighting. Perfect ferrules are serial number matched on 2-9 (668383); PW and SW are part of same set. Head condition very good showing only light dinging and no gouges; 9 iron with some sole scratching and yellowing on sole and on side of sand blasting; SW with most sole chrome gone and some face yellowing like 9 iron. Faces have original sand blasting which has been relined with black and white accents. Good stiff flex Spalding Lightweight steel shafts with some dulling mostly on steps but no bag burn marks, rust or chipping. Shafts have good chrome finish and all Spalding bluebands with edgewear. Original Spalding bird-on-ball rubber grips with all caps and collars are showing some age cracking but are cool and playable as-is. Grips can be replaced if requested for fee based on grip type. A great set of thin back forgings from Spalding's good days, that requires a real player to appreciate. 5 iron 37 1/2".
