One of Wilson's earliest and hard-to-find wood productions which were custom built for customers (PG stood for Power Gauged). This customer was Walter Lorffler who might have been the buying pro or his customer. Wilson stamped irons and woods as shown here at no charge as a service to pros. Condition is good+. Deep face ( 1 3/4"+) with great cross hatch face, V shaped sole plate and ram's horn slip. Excellent underlying wood. Neat crown with black top stripe. Rewhipped. Excellent long black collar with white ring ferrule and excellent walnut colored sheathed steel shaft. Excellent original duro calfskin leather wrap grip. Ready to play, collect or refinish to perfection.
