Heddon Shafted Wilson Headspeed 2 wood

Golfengineering ID: cucwd1514
Vintage: 1938
Gender-Dexterity: men's right handed
Lifecycle: used
Shaft type: Heddon Steel

Introduced in 1938, this streamlined persimmon wood featured advanced weight distribution and the first radiused sole as well as the new aerodynamic Heddon 'tear drop' shaft. The head is very good condition with only poly chipping -- great wood base. The 'double whip' shoulder (like plastic whipping cover) has a nuisance seam crack but is intact. The hard-to-find Heddon shaft, which improves swing speed by 12 %, has some tarnish but overall looks good. Golf Pride Fine Line grip appears to be original with good collar. Sturdy enough to play or keep as a collectable 'technology' club.
