Fair/good condition for these '40' head modeled persimmon woods. They are sturdy as is. All heads remarkably
preserved with clear cote wear but hardly noticeable nicking to underlying block. Inserts are good. The soleplate on the driver
has a front end gouge and shows the most wear; other soleplates are very good.
MT crown logo engravings deep; Eye-O-Matic on sole toes good but barely perceptable on driver. All whipping in place but small
tape fix on top of driver and start of unraveling at top of 4 wood. Driver shaft pretty good with some rust pitting but overall
OK for the vintage; driver leather wrap grip has tape covering the collar which I did not remove; cap is in place. 3 wood
shaft very good with good chrome sparkle and very good complete leather wrap grip. 4 wood shaft with some pitting on length
like driver but actually looks pretty good; very good leather wrap grip. 3 and 4 have small Tourney shaft bands but driver band is missing.
With a new driver soleplate these can be refinished to near perfection.
